plesno raziskovanje (... Beyond Front@) spodbuja in podpira produkcijo in predstavitev sodobnega plesa za umetnike in občinstvo na obmejnih področjih severnovzhodne Slovenije, jugovzhodne Avstrije, zahodne Madžarske in severnovzhodne Hrvaške. Pet glavnih sodelujočih organizatorjev, Flota (Murska Sobota, SLO), Dance Week Festival (Zagreb, HR), Pro Progressione (Budimpešta, HU), Dance Identity/D.ID (Pinkafeld, AT), in OHO (Oberwart, AT), združuje strokovnost in izkušnje z lokalnimi in mednarodnimi umetniki in občinstvi, da bi ustvarili novi skupni podvig v sodobnem plesu.

Cilji projekta vključujejo:
1. predstaviti visokokakovostne profesionalne predstave sodobnega plesa koreografov/skupin iz štirih sodelujočih držav in drugih evropskih narodov na Front@ - festivalu sodobnega plesa (Murska Sobota), Dance Week Festival (Zagreb), Burgenländischen Tanzwochen (Oberwart) in Trafo (Budimpešta);
2. povečati dostop in mobilnost občinstva do kulture z zagotavljanjem prevoza občinstvu, da bi se lažje udeleževali dejavnosti preko meje;
3. vzpodbuditi dialog in zanimanje za pereče probleme sodobnega plesa preko neformalnih srečanj in;
4. organsko razvijati nova sodelovanja med mladimi profesionalnimi plesalci in umetniki, katerih delo se dotika področja plesa (arhitekti, dizajnerji, upodobitveni umetniki, glasbeniki), s produkcijo niza medkulturnih improvizacijskih večerov sodobnega plesa, ki se imenujejo Dance Communication Lab – DCL (Laboratorij plesne komunikacije);
5. pospeševati nove medkulturne koprodukcije med umetniki, kot posledico dejavnosti DCLja.

Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ (Beyond Front@ plesno raziskovanje) si prizadeva zgraditi pomembne in ustvarjalne odnose med plesalci, drugimi umetniki, kulturnimi vodji, kritiki, teoretiki in občinstvi na področju Srednje Evrope, z zagotavljanjem dostopa do visokokakovostne kulturne ponudbe državljanom na podeželju in mestnih področjih.

Dance Explorations Beyond Front@
(... Beyond Front@) stimulates and supports the production and presentation of contemporary dance for artists and audiences in the border regions of northeastern Slovenia, southeastern Austria, western Hungary and northeastern Croatia. The five main participating organisers: Flota (Murska Sobota, SLO), Hrvatski Institut za pokret i ples / Tjedan suvremenog plesa (Dance Week Festival) (HIPP-TSP) (Zagreb, HR), Pro Progressione (Budapest, HU), Dance Identity/D.ID (Pinkafeld, AT), and OHO (Oberwart, AT) unite expertise and experiences with local and international artists and audiences to create a new collaborative venture in contemporary dance.

Project goals include:
1. to present high quality professional contemporary dance performances by choreographers/companies from the four participating countries and other European nations at Front@ Festival of Contemporary Dance (Murska Sobota), Dance Week Festival (Zagreb), Burgenländischen Tanzwochen (Oberwart) and Trafo (Budapest);
2. to increase audience accessibility and mobility to culture by providing transport to audiences to help them more easily access activities across the border;
3. to generate dialogue and interest about the cutting edge issues of contemporary dance through informal gatherings and ;
4. to organically develop new collaborations among young professional dancers and artists whose work intersects the dance field (architects, designers, visual artists, musicians) by producing a series of cross-cultural contemporary dance improvisation evenings called Dance Communication Lab - DCL;
5. to foster new cross-cultural co-productions among artists as a result of the activities of DCL.

Dance Explorations Beyond Front@ aims to build meaningful professional and creative relationships among dancers, other artists, cultural managers, critics, theoreticians and audiences in the Central European region by providing access to high-quality cultural offerings to citizens in rural as well as urban areas.
